Advice for a train experience to remember:

  • Please advise us of group bookings at least two days in advance, by mail or phone.
  • Students, pensioners and disabled people must show valid identification.
  • CFR railway tickets and passes are not valid on the trains of the CFF Viseu de Sus.
  • During the high season, children travel at a reduced price (29 RON)  every Monday.
  • We suggest that groups book their own charter train.
  • You may board the train only with valid tickets!
  • In the event of very bad weather the train may be cancelled. Due to technical failures, steam locomotives may be replaced by diesels.
  • Due to limited seating, we kindly ask you to keep the seats free of luggage.
  • Please read the CFF standing procedures before travel.

Forestry and Logging Trains

Forestry and Logging Trains run throughout the year with no standing time table, to meet the needs of the forestry industry.  Visitors are not permitted to travel on forestry trains.
